[Chat (Android)] Strategy For Using Griffins?

So recently switched to Lv 4 Griffins from Hunters.
What's the strategy in using griffins? When do you send them in usually? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but they die so quickly for me. For hunters, I've always had them the same time as my heroes as support.

What heroes do you currently have?

- If your heroes are strong enough drop them first and let them do the work first. If they can clear out some walls, buildings, and even one army camp of troops let them do it by themselves, but if you think they'll need help that's when you drop your griffins.
- Deploy your griffins AFTER your heroes have already caught the attention of the defending troops/heroes. This way, you'll be able to ambush them from behind.
- Never hesitate to use spells to save troops (Restoration and Guardian Angel), as you'll save significant revival time saving most of them.

Thanks for the advice.

My main heroes are succubus, paladin, tg and ninja (all ~72) so no too strong but able to take some heroes out together. I like the idea of ambushing behind.

Oh and is guardian angel worth the upgrade?

Your heroes are all right, all you need is a druid to make them last longer in raids (or even finish the raid alive).

Yeah been farming for like a week non-stop and am at 700 shards. Hoping to get a druid from gems but I guess the chances are slim.

Wondering if I should wait to get 450 gems or just use the 150 haha

Just keep farming and you'll eventually get him. I'm also farming for my TG, got 1,400 shards right now.

I'm also tempted to gem roll for TG though I'll just use the sure-fire way of getting him through shards. :)

Dungeon 2 Skull 1 (shard drop: 4). I just solo my druid without any magic or support troops. I average around 50 shards on 40-45 runs per day. I sometimes use D2S2 (shard drop: 5) but it's slightly more difficult but doable with 1-2 griffin losses.

You need to wait until. Your paladin has all targets on him once he breaks through wall only when all towers are targeting your heros do you deploy gryphon

I usually deploy my heroes first. My griffins come after. Heroes protect griffins, and griffins add more fire power. Idk, but thats how I use them.
