Did I get this right? Pally is a must have for arena although it is not that much useful for raids... At the end with one high level pally, one can block a lane with SM and Druid behind while Succubus and Ninja runs forward...

I guess TG is good for raid, especially if one is missing SM but not very useful on Arena.  With SM, I am not even sure TG is necessary...

I love my paladin in the arena... I just block their DPS with him amd send my DPS into another unoccupied lane

gl sending paladin by himself to tank a spirit mage. that's proc heaven

I never found it that useful and regretfully fed it to my SM to reduce my Might prior to the garrison update.

Kinda wishing I didn't do it now but I'm sure I'll get it back at some point when my might is high enough for it not to matter.

I guess top players don't use pally then since it will simply let attacker proc. On the other hand, top players always have pally on their base. What does that mean? Could it be possible they put range attackers like SM behind it?

Pally were the best hero to have in defending base since it gets additional defense hero base. My pally can defend a bunch of griffs at least. Pally also can give significant of hp in your altar in arena, so I find him useful
