I started playing castle clash again earlier this year. I'd always end up quitting before long, but what I'm thankful for this year are a few things that have kept me playing until now. The first thing I'd like to express my gratitude for are the free gifts given through in-game events such as clasher's day and thanks giving. These were nice treats that gave me a boost in morale. And honestly, every little bit helps, so I really valued these gifts as they gave me a small nudge in my progression. And as the year went on, I noticed how they got better.
Another thing I'm grateful for is the improved friendly wheel rewards. True, it isn't much, but it show that igg is moving in the right direction; which is comforting to know.
As someone who was a f2p player at the beginning of this year, the input from igg actually made me like them a little more, and despite the negative comments I'd read, I developed some faith in them - so much so that I was comfortable making my first ever purchase this year! And let me just say, thank you for the awesome bazaar deals!
The above made the game feel a lot more rewarding, but what made the game a lot more fun was the new Lostland game mode. I'm definitely grateful for this as it's my new favorite mode one that I eagerly look forward to each week.
Overall, best year in castle clash for me. Can't wait to see what else this year has to offer and what's in store for next year.
My hope for next year is something I believe would help solve the "losing to unkillable heroes" problem: I would like to see igg calculate the overall damage done during a game mode like lost battle field, then the team that ultimately did the most damge would be the winners. I really feel this would help against stalls.
This in itself has been a fun opportunity to improve my writing skills and I'm happy to have participated in it ^^.
