There are currently issues with Verizon's connectivity issues to IGG servers.
Here are some facts that may potentially be the reason for connection failures:
IGG servers are hosted in Canada
Verizon is based in USA with NYC headquarters
Big Snow Storm on the East Coast
My take on the situation:
Because of the poor weather conditions, we can suspect some Verizon server lines are operating slower than usual. Internet Service Providers such as Verizon often pipeline connections to a central server to access servers outside of the country. In this case, it is very likely that all your internet connections are first being routed to NYC, then to Canada. Then with some sever in the line somewhere, the consistency of the connection is tarnished.
1. a) Call up Verizon and tell them you can't to connect to a specific server (Castle Clash IGG)
b) Let them know the server is in Canada
c) Suggest that the Verizon routing to their server is poor and ask for an alternative route.
Hopefully, this will all work out and Verizon will provide you with a working solution!!!
Solution 2 (more reliable than Verizon lol):
1. Download a VPN service
2. Run the VPN service prior to launching Castle Clash
VPNS For PC:
VPNS For Android:
Unlimited Free VPN by Betternet
There is no guarantee that the VPN service will work, however, a VPN may change your routing to the IGG server and thus may enable you to connect.
Best of luck ~
