The same with 4/5 berserk.
Glad you posted about this I was asking about this very subject yesterday. I have druid with 4/5 BZ and champion with 2/5 BZ but have no PD. So i think i am gonna reroll champions talent and hope for revive or revite or maybe wargod or deadly strike.
If someone may kind enough to answer my question, how will PD's skill level affect 1000 ms attack rate heroes without zerk now? Is it like 7/9 the same as 8/9 the first proc? how bout second stack and so on?
Great guide. I feel I may be in the best position as a F2P player to confirm your PD 8/9 assumptions at 2/5 zerk.
Initially I could not perma stun boss, even with PD tank at the beginning. Based on speeds I believe I am only able to reach 600ms bracket which is not enough for just PD / Champ to perma stun (note Champ has 2/5 zerk as well). The only way I can perma stun is by perfectly timing my drop between TG and Champ so that the stun is somewhere between 3.5 - 4.5 secs. From there I can permastun for 38 mil 3 min round.
In my guild, our previous leader had PD 8/9 with 3/5 zerk. Based on his damage, around 56mil in 2mins, same heroes as me, I believe he is able to get into the 400ms bracket.
Therefore in summary, 8/9 PD 2/5 zerk provides no boss benefit, 3/5 is needed.
If anyone is interested, I am 2 days away from 9/9 PD. So I can re-comment after I hit that to see what the difference is.
