Haha how funny what we look like...
How about combinations like high innate move, short ranged attack, multiple target attack skill, Life Drain talent, and Scorch crests. The hero (let's call him Immo for now), rushes forwards, gets mobbed, scorch immunity saves him for one second, he procs to kill them all before the immunity ends, then he uses LD to refill his HP.
@ForceClosed , had a nitpick on how likely scorch is likely to trigger.
Say at Level1 , scorch has 5% chance to trigger the talent, and say 3 troops attack the hero,
The correct way to calculate how likely it is that the talent is activated is :
1 - ( 0.95 * 0.95 * 0.95) = .142625 = 14.2625%
here .95 is the chance that the talent did not trigger, and (.95 * .95 * .95) is the chance that the talent did not trigger on 3 tries (by 3 troops) and so the likelihood that the talent triggered is 1 (1 stands for 100%) minus (.95^3).
So when 20 troops attack , that number is
1 - ((0.95)^20) = 0.6415 = 64.15%
So when you say it is very likely that when 20 troops attack the talent will activate, it means it is 64.15% likely that it will activate.
I question this assumption from the OP:
"Procs are assumed to activate scorch as well (eg. Tg from across the map)."
I've been testing this just to see how to Scorch looks like against a skill; in particular, if it displays 0 damage (it should, I think).
I've tested this on my smurf (main attacking smurf) and hit a hero with a Scorch crest set more than 100 times with TG's lightning and all hit with damage; never 0. But if I use a Blade Shell crest set, I would occasionally see the 0 damage (and the attacking TG taking the damage).
Does anyone have evidence that scorch can get triggered by skill damage? Or if it works against skills at all (after being triggered by regular attack or tower)?
